Let me capture who you are . . .. . . not just what you look like. Please visit http://ericasalmonphotography.com for more info!
I have been passionate about photography for almost 20 years. I started out as photo editor of my High School yearbook and have been taking pictures ever since. The birth of my two children energized my passion for capturing memories, and I started Erica Salmon Photography in Indianapolis in the summer of 2009.
I am a member of Professional Photographers of Indiana and have attended State and regional conferences where I received instruction from many of the premier photographers in the industry from all of the country. I participated in the print competition at the Indiana State Fair where I won a best of show award for a black and white portrait of a child. In February 2010 I received scores for excellence in print competition at the regional Mid-America Regional Conference of Professional Photographers in Indianapolis.
I have a photo journalistic approach and love to capture natural, spontaneous moments. It's often the shots that happen "between" the traditional poses that really capture a person's true spirit. Those are the shots that tell the story. Those are the shots that make me passionate about photography.
The first time I shot a wedding I knew that photography was what I am supposed to be doing. What a joy it is to participate in such a happy moment in a couple's life. What an amazing honor to be charged with preserving that special day.
I appreciate your time and the opportunity to share my work. I would love the chance to talk with you about capturing some important moments in your life.
